CLAYCRETE II – Soil Stabilization for Construction Floors
CLAYCRETE II improves the stability and density of soils beneath construction floors by targeting the unique properties of clay particles. Clay naturally carries a negative electrical charge, which causes the particles to repel each other and absorb water. This leads to swelling, shrinkage, and weak, unstable soil.
By neutralizing the negative charge on clay particles, CLAYCRETE II prevents them from absorbing water. This allows the clay to act as a void filler, binding tightly together to form a denser, more stable soil structure. The result is a solid, compact base that reduces movement and moisture-related damage under construction floors.
Using CLAYCRETE II ensures stronger foundations with improved load-bearing capacity, minimizing the risk of cracks and unevenness in the finished floor. It’s an effective way to create durable, long-lasting construction floors on challenging clay-rich soils.
